RELEASE: Rep. Bob Dettmer Encourages Area High School Students to Consider Capitol Page Program

The Minnesota House of Representatives is looking for High School Pages for the 2017 legislative session.
 
Modeled after the United States Congress Page Program, the program is open to all Minnesota high school students in their junior year, and is a week in duration. The formal application process includes an application form, acquiring a faculty recommendation, and submitting an essay. Applications are Due on December 2nd, 2016.

Representative Bob Dettmer (R-Forest Lake) issued the following statement regarding the High School Page Program:
 
"I encourage any high school juniors to apply to the Minnesota House High School Page Program," said Rep. Dettmer. "If you are at all interested in state government or public service, this opportunity is an invaluable experience, and it's a lot of fun too."
