Rep. Masin Praises Gov. Walz for his Reassuring Leadership in State of the State Address
St. Paul, MN – This evening, Governor Tim Walz delivered his State of the State Address from the Governor’s Residence, adhering to the Stay at Home order during the COVID-19 pandemic. Governor Walz asserted that Minnesota is in a strong position to manage the COVID-19 pandemic. He praised Minnesotans for their efforts in slowing the spread of the disease and called on their continued strength and support for one another. Minnesota State Representative Sandra Masin (DFL - Eagan) released the following statement:
“People should recognize just how important their efforts are in fighting this pandemic. Governor Walz was right to say that each Minnesotan who is staying home is taking action to fight COVID-19. I am grateful that he took the time to speak directly to our students who are struggling greatly during these uncertain times. Governor Walz provided comfort, solace, and renewed our strength to continue on. He is providing the leadership and support we need from an executive office in times like these.”
