Rep. Tina Liebling Joins Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center Board of Directors

Rochester, Minn. – Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center today announced that Tina Liebling, state representative for District 26A, was elected to the organization's board of directors.

"Through her time serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives, Rep. Liebling has extensive health care-related knowledge and we look forward to benefiting from her insights and experience as a member of Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center's board," said Dave Cook, Zumbro Valley's CEO. "Tina joining our board is a significant addition to our organization, and I think she will add a new dimension to our board discussions."

"Zumbro Valley is a vital part of SE Minnesota’s health care network," said Rep. Liebling. "I am honored to join this exciting and dynamic team and look forward to working closely with Dave and the board during the next three years."

As a state representative for the Rochester area, Rep. Liebling serves as chair of the Health and Human Services Policy committee as well as a member of the Taxes, Health and Human Services Finance and Civil Law committees. She was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2004 and has served for the past nine years.

Rep. Liebling is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota where she obtained a B.A. in Spanish. She later received an M.S. in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She also received a J.D. cum laude from Boston University Law School.
