REP. HAMILTON: SESSION HAS BEGUN, SO MAKE YOUR CASE HEARD

Monday, March 21, 2016

ST. PAUL – The 2016 legislative session will last ten weeks this session, and because of this, State Representative Rod Hamilton (R-Mountain Lake) said dozens of people from across southwestern Minnesota have already traveled to St. Paul to make their voices heard.

"Over the past week, I've met with farmers, children's advocates, and local officials to name just a few," Hamilton said. "These folks educate me on the issues important to them, and their engagement in the political process is truly a blessing."

For example, as part of National Ag Day on March 15, dozens of residents affiliated with agriculture or commodity groups stopped by Rep. Hamilton's office to encourage his continued support for those who help maintain the nation's food supply.

"I really appreciate people taking time out of their busy lives to drive to St. Paul and advocate for their priorities," Hamilton said. "Their input is necessary and always welcomed."

If you would like to meet with Rep. Hamilton in St. Paul this session, he strongly encourages you to call his office and set up an appointment. He can be reached at 651-296-5373
