REP. PAT GAROFALO ANNOUNCES RUN FOR RE-ELECTION Rep. Pat Garofalo (R-Farmington) has announced his intention to run for re-election for the Minnesota House of Representatives seat he now holds representing district 36B. Garofalo, who won the House seat in 2004 with more than 62 percent of the vote, completes his first term as a state representative in 2006. Garofalo currently serves as vice chair of the Jobs and Economic Opportunity Policy and Finance Committee, and also serves on the Capital Investment and Local Government committees. “I am looking forward to a vigorous campaign and the chance to continue serving my community in the Minnesota House of Representatives,” Garofalo said. “If re-elected, I will remain dedicated to the best interests of my constituents and to the principles of responsible state government.” Garofalo is a network engineer with the Allianz Life Insurance Company in Golden Valley. He is a life-long resident of the area he represents, having grown up in Lakeville, graduated from Rosemount High School in 1989 and Mankato State University in 1994.
