REP. URDAHL HOSTS TOWN HALL MEETINGS IN 18B

ST. PAUL – State Rep. Dean Urdahl, R-Grove City, will conduct a series of town hall meetings in District 18B later this month. Sen. Steve Dille, R-Dassel, will join Urdahl at the meetings. The town hall meetings provide opportunities for local residents to discuss key issues prior to the Legislature convening Feb. 4 in St. Paul. All of the meetings are open to the public and are conducted in a casual setting. “This is another very important legislative session as we focus on helping people get back to work and otherwise dig our way out of this recession,” Urdahl said. “These meetings are valuable to me as I prepare to head to St. Paul, and people who attend enjoy sitting down with their neighbors as we discuss issues in a laid-back setting.” Town hall meetings schedule: 9 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 23 Homestyle Cafe (95 Elm St. E., Annandale) 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26 Daniel’s Family Restaurant (525 Cokato St. W., Cokato) 9 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30 Main Street Café (226 Sibley Ave. N., Litchfield) -30- Dean Urdahl represents District 18B in the Minnesota House of Representatives. The district includes most of Meeker County and a portion of Wright County. This is Urdahl’s fourth term in the Legislature after being elected in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008.
