House Capital Investment Committee Visits Brooklyn Park Youth & Teen Center, Fire Station
SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Today, Representative Michael V. Nelson (DFL– Brooklyn Park) hosted the House Capital Investment Committee in Brooklyn Park during their 2023 Bonding Tour. The committee is touring sites for proposed capital investment throughout the state. The Brooklyn Park Youth & Teen Center seeks investment for renovation and expansion of its facilities, and the Brooklyn Park Fire Station seeks investment for regional training and emergency operations facilities. The fire station also received funding in the 2023 Capital Investment budget bill.
Rep. Nelson issued the following statement:
“It’s always a fantastic honor to show my House colleagues our district. The Youth & Teen Center and the Fire Station offer different but vital services to our community, and I want to thank the great folks at both facilities for welcoming us and showing us the great work they’re doing for Brooklyn Park and beyond.”
