Town Hall Meeting Reminder and March for Our Lives

Friday, March 23, 2018

Friends,

I’d like to remind you once again about the Town Hall Meeting I’m hosting with our other area legislators tomorrow afternoon. With the first committee deadline coming yesterday, this is an extremely pivotal time in the session, so your input is extremely valuable as we move forward on a variety of important issues. We will meet at the Cameroon Community Center in Bandana Square at 3:00 p.m.

Sen. Marty, Rep. Hausman and I all value your engagement, and look forward to hearing your questions and ideas. Everyone is welcome and I hope you can make plans to be there. If you can’t, I encourage you to call or email me anytime throughout the session on any issue important to you. I also plan to stream the meeting via Facebook Live, so I encourage you to “like” my official legislative Facebook page here to follow along.

Tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m., Minnesota students and allies will march from Harriet Island to the State Capitol demanding action to end gun violence. Once the march reaches the Capitol, I’ll be speaking at the rally on the lawn.

To truly affect change, the momentum will need to continue, and I’m inspired by what we’ve seen so far, especially from our young people. This is one of many marches occurring throughout the nation, including one in Washington, D.C. Click here for more information on the event.

Sincerely,

John Lesch

State Representative
