Dear neighbors,
After many months of hard work, my colleagues and I passed a two-year state budget that will improve the lives of Minnesotans. We weren’t able to accomplish everything that Minnesotans asked of us due to obstruction from Senate Republicans, but we successfully fought for strong investments in students and protected health care access for 1.2 million Minnesotans.
If you’d like to hear more about what we accomplished this session, please join Sen. Patricia Torres Ray, Rep. Jim Davnie, and me this Saturday, June 8 for a town hall forum. All community members are welcome to ask questions and share their views from 10 – 11:30 am at the Corcoran Recreation Center. We hope to see you there!
