The Fourth of July is coming, which means the state’s biggest little parade will take place in Erhard. It starts at 11 a.m. Friday and, if you haven’t been to Erhard’s parade, you really should check it out.
Also, the Fergus Falls parade, which was postponed due to weather, will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday. Hope to see you there!
And I also want to mention I attended a veterans parade last week. It was nice to see all those people who gave so much for our country.
On that note, I encourage folks to stop and take a minute to appreciate the history of our nation and what our service men and women have given. It’s mind-boggling when you think how our nation began and where we are now. How would we, today, handle the decisions they made back then? The bottom line is the model they put in place has worked extraordinarily well. Just some thought-starters for the Fourth.
Take care, be safe and have a great holiday. And, remember to patronize our local shops as you are out and about this weekend. They are the backbone of our economy.
