St. Paul – Rep. Bud Nornes has been appointed to the Legislative Commission to End Poverty in Minnesota by 2020 by Speaker of the House Margaret Anderson Kelliher.
“The Legislative Commission to End Poverty in Minnesota is a multi-agency, multi-faith group that combines both public and private resources with the noble ambition to create a better Minnesota for our families and our children,” Nornes said. “I am looking forward to being a part of this process.”
The Legislative Commission to End Poverty in Minnesota by 2020 consists of nine members of the senate appointed by the Subcommittee on Committees of the Committee on Rules and Administration, including four members of the minority, and nine members of the House of Representatives appointed by the Speaker.
