ST. PAUL – State Rep. Bud Nornes urges local entities to take advantage of grants the Legislature funded this year to assist Greater Minnesota's workforce and workforce housing initiatives.
Grants for job training, rural career counseling and workforce housing all are available through the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.
"These grants are valuable tools for workers, businesses, non-profits and local governments alike can use to boost the economy in Greater Minnesota," said Nornes, a Fergus Falls Republican. "I encourage people from our area to take advantage of these opportunities and hope some of the awards land locally."
