Dear Neighbors, Thank you for participating in our district’s first-ever virtual town hall meeting. Sen. Kent Eken, Rep. Heather Keeler, and I talked about our region’s legislative priorities and answered your questions. If you were unable to join the conversation on Sunday, you can click here to watch the entire video. Vaccine distribution got off to a slow start throughout the nation, but Minnesota is making improvements every week as we receive more doses from the federal government. A new online vaccine locator map is available to help Minnesotans more easily find and connect with local vaccine providers. This map will grow as the federal government sends Minnesota more doses. Another helpful resource for information about COVID-19 is https://mn.gov/covid19. You can expect more frequent updates like this now that the Legislature is meeting for the 2021 session. Please continue to share your questions, ideas, and concerns by emailing rep.paul.marquart@house.mn or calling 1-800-551-5520. This legislative session is a new opportunity to meet the enormous needs of our senior citizens, small businesses, working families, and farmers. I’m committed to putting rural Minnesota first and making sure our communities receive the resources we deserve. Sincerely, Paul Marquart |
