Taxes Conference Committee to hold public hearing this afternoon
SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Co-Chair Paul Marquart (DFL- Dilworth) will hold a joint House/Senate Taxes Conference Committee meeting this afternoon at 1 p.m.

The House DFL tax bill holds corporations accountable by closing tax loopholes they have taken advantage of to get out of paying their fair share. While income inequality continues to grow in Minnesota, the DFL tax bill would tax corporations' foreign profits in order to invest in education for all Minnesotans.
The Senate GOP plan favors corporations and the wealthy while underfunding schools and contributing to race, geography, and income-based opportunity gaps.
