Blessed Easter/Passover

Thursday, April 2, 2015

Dear Neighbor,

On behalf of the Knoblach family, I would like to wish you and yours a blessed Easter/Passover.

The Legislature is idle this week as far as official business at the Capitol so I have been spending time meeting with people in District 14B. Some of the appointments I have had this week include:

1) Met with a local attorney and talked about legislative issues on Monday;

2) Attended a forum on long term care and had a tour of the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Sauk Rapids on Tuesday;

3) Visited McKinley Area Learning Center in Waite Park on Wednesday morning;

4) Met with budget officials in Saint Paul on Wednesday afternoon;

5) Met with SCSU students on Thursday;

6) Met with a Saint Cloud School Board member on Thursday;

I also will be meeting with constituents Friday morning. Then the pace will pick up at the Capitol as we return to St. Paul on Monday after this holiday weekend. The session's biggest challenges and decisions await as we enter the unofficial second half of the session. I will keep you posted as things take shape, particularly pertaining to my involvement in setting a new state budget.

Until then, here is a link to a profile piece written about me that recently appeared in the St. Paul Pioneer Press: http://www.twincities.com/localnews/ci_27755289/after-8-year-absence-from-legislature-rep-jim.

Sincerely,

Jim
