Neighbors and Friends,
Legislators continue to work on finalizing our two-year budget to approve in a special session this month. Working groups are currently discussing compromise budget measures based on a framework set by legislative leaders last month. I am meeting with advocates, House and Senate negotiators and others to craft a Housing budget aimed at helping those most impacted by COVID-19.
COVID-19 Vaccination Update
The best way to protect everyone from COVID-19 is to get a vaccine. The Minnesota Department of Health reports nearly 3 million Minnesotans have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Check out Minnesota’s COVID-19 mn.gov/vaccineconnector, or ask your health care provider to help you find a vaccine.
Now through June 8, you can receive a Johnson & Johnson single dose COVID-19 vaccination at the State Fair location on Como Avenue in Falcon Heights. Call 833-431-2053 and operators are available to help you make an appointment.
