As chair of the Housing Finance & Policy Division in the Minnesota House, our committee is searching for collaborative and effective ways to end the statewide housing shortage crisis. Take a moment to read the article which recently appeared in the Star Tribune. The lack of affordable and available housing has economic implications and most certainly is a moral issue.

I was invited to speak to two groups this week to discuss housing. Tuesday, I addressed the annual legislative breakfast of The Metropolitan Interfaith Council on Affordable Housing (MICAH) in St. Paul. On Friday, I have been invited to speak to the Minnesota chapter of the American Institute of Architects at the University of Minnesota.
