SAINT PAUL, MN – Late Sunday night, the Minnesota House passed the $1.5 billion bonding bill by a vote of 113 – 17. The measure funds infrastructure projects throughout the state. Capital Investment DFL Lead, Rep. Alice Hausman, released this statement:
“I was pleased with the bipartisan vote on the bonding bill tonight. The investments in shovel-ready projects in higher education, clean water and housing throughout the state are a great economic benefit, creating jobs and enhancing the quality of life. By working together, we were able to increase the number of projects with regional and local significance. This geographically balanced bill invests in a wide range of statewide communities.”
The legislative session adjourned at midnight on Sunday.
