SAINT PAUL, MN – Late last week, Rep. Alice Hausman (DFL-St. Paul) received the Saint Paul College 2017 Community Partner of the Year award. The award honors individuals and organizations for outstanding service and dedication to Saint Paul College.
“The Saint Paul College expertly prepares its students to be productive members of our 21st century workforce and is greatly appreciated as a community and regional asset,” said Rep. Hausman. “I am honored to be recognized for my role in supporting this valued institution.”
Saint Paul College President Rassoul Dastmozd also announced that an endowed scholarship of $500 per school year will be awarded to a student in the Trades programs in honor of Representative Alice Hausman.

Representative Alice Hausman is a tireless advocate of higher education and Saint Paul College. As a retired educator, her support of education initiatives and her advocacy for the well-being of her constituents, so many of whom are Saint Paul College students, has contributed greatly to the success of the College and our students. Representative Hausman is a genuine leader who truly cares about all Minnesotans.
Rep. Hausman’s photo will be placed on the college Wall of Fame.
