Dear Neighbor,
We are arriving at the 60-day mark since the regular 2016 legislative session ended. That means, in accordance with Campaign Finance Board rules, legislators are required to put email updates such as this on hold until after the November election.
Even though the email messages will be on hiatus, I will continue doing my job in representing the people of District 31B. As always, your direct thoughts, ideas, suggestions, requests for assistance, etc., are welcome.
One legislative item I would like to pass along is that a number of new laws will take effect on Aug. 1. You can click here for summaries of those bills or visit this link for a complete summary of all the new laws the Legislature passed in 2016.
