St. Paul, MN – On Friday, February 22, the House Education Finance Division will hold a public hearing to discuss public education funding and needs of rural school districts.
“All children deserve a world-class education, no matter where they live in our state,” said Chair Jim Davnie (DFL-Minneapolis). “We are working to make sure Minnesota public schools are fully funded, and want to hear from communities statewide about their biggest challenges in achieving that goal.”
All members of the community are invited to attend the field hearing and provide public testimony.

Where: Windom Middle High School, 1400 17th St, Windom, MN 56101
Members of the public who wish to attend this public hearing may park in the East parking lot and sign in with school officials at Door 1. Individuals and groups that wish to provide testimony to the committee may do so by contacting Sarah Burt at sarah.burt@house.mn.
