ST. PAUL, MN – State Rep. Lyndon Carlson took the oath of office on Tuesday for another term as State Representative from District 45B. Rep. Carlson, who served as Chair of the Finance Committee under the DFL majority, has been named DFL Lead on the Ways and Means Committee. He will also serve on the Capital Investment and Education Reform Committees. “My committee appointments represent our top priorities this year – jobs, education and a balanced budget," said Carlson. “Even though I am no longer in the majority, I will work with my colleagues across the aisles on a budget solution that does not harm our schools, seniors or middle-class families. Carlson, a retired school teacher, has represented the residents of Crystal, Robbinsdale and Golden Valley since 1972.
