Dear neighbors,

As we move quickly toward the end of the legislative session, I want to invite you to one more town hall in Duluth for a conversation on the specific issues of Transportation, Health Care, and Early Childhood Education.

WHO: Senator Erik Simonson, Representative Jen Schultz, and Representative Liz Olson

WHAT: A town hall focusing on three issue areas led by each of three legislators. Each legislator will give a short presentation on an issue area, and then we will have time to hear from constituents about the topics you care about.

  • Transportation - Senator Erik Simonson
Whether it's passenger rail to Minneapolis or fixing roads and bridges across Minnesota, rebuilding our infrastructure should be a top priority.

  • Health Care - Representative Jen Schultz
This session has seen the discussion of health care focus on premium relief, reinsurance, and expanding MinnesotaCare as an option in the insurance exchange.

  • Early Childhood Education - Representative Liz Olson
Our children deserve the best possible start in life. We will discuss specific legislative proposals at the legislature that can make that happen.

WHEN: Saturday, April 29, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM

WHERE: Ordean East Middle School, 2900 E 4th St, Duluth

RSVP on Facebook
(not required for attendance)

We will have opportunities for you to voice your opinion on issues you care about, discuss specific needs and issues you may have with state agencies, and take grassroots action on the issues most important to you!

Please note that due to the high attendance of the last town hall, we are hosting this in a space with much more room for many more people to participate. All are welcome!
