Loon Takes Oath of Office

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Jenifer Loon (R-Eden Prairie) was officially sworn in as state representative on Tuesday, January 6, in St. Paul after taking the oath of office administered by Chief Justice Lori Gildea. This is her fourth term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.

“It is an honor to once again be representing the people of Eden Prairie, and I look forward to bringing their priorities to state government,” said Rep. Loon. “This session, there will be a strong emphasis on lessening your tax burden, strengthening our education system, prioritizing funding for roads and bridges, and reining in wasteful government spending. As a new legislative session begins, please know that I am here to serve you and welcome your input on how we can make our great state even better.”

Rep. Loon will chair the Education Finance Committee and will also be serving on the Commerce and Regulatory Reform, Taxes, and Ways and Means committees.

She represents House District 48B which is all within the city Eden Prairie.
