ST. PAUL – Rep. Jenifer Loon, R-Eden Prairie, has scheduled a series of meetings where local residents can book individual or small-group meetings to discuss whatever issues are on their mind.
The event will take place 7 to 9 p.m., Feb. 28 in the Heritage Room II at Eden Prairie City Hall, 8080 Mitchell Road. District 42B residents can reserve a 15-minute slot to meet with Loon.
“This is an especially important time of year to meet with people and receive input,” Loon said. “The Legislature is back in session and we face a number of difficult decisions in the upcoming weeks and months. Remaining in close communication with local citizens helps me continue doing my best to serve as the voice of people of our area.”
Reservations are highly encouraged to aid in scheduling and you may call (651) 297-8187 to save a spot. Walk-ups will be accommodated first-come, first-served as time allows.
“Reform is a crucial element in 2012 as we work to improve the way our state operates and I am interested to hear more ideas for how we can do things better,” Loon said. “Citizen participation is a key element in this process and I look forward to productive discussions.”
