Dear Neighbors,
I hope you and your family have enjoyed the summer so far. It’s hard to believe that we are already over halfway to Labor Day. Back to school preparations will be here before we know it.
This past week, I participated with 93 students from Highview Middle School along with principle Sheila Eller and assistant principle Ben Chiri in an event with Wilderness Inquiry.
Students were given an opportunity to canoe and for many it was their first occasion in a canoe as well as an opportunity to learn about water quality. The students were very engaged and I was impressed with their answers pertaining to water quality as well as their knowledge of invasive species including Zebra Mussels.
Because of state Campaign Finance Board rules, this will be my final email update until November. In the meantime, I still encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding state government. I would welcome the opportunity to connect with you.
