I wanted to wish you and your family a Happy Independence Day and a fun 4th of July!
We’re so incredibly fortunate to live in a free country and enjoy our countless freedoms and liberties. For me, this is a time to reflect on the important men and women who helped lead our country toward independence, and to lay the groundwork for the free nation we know and love today.
While 4th of July is certainly much more than just a day to spend at fairs, parades, and fireworks, that doesn’t mean we all shouldn’t partake in these events to celebrate America, right? Lucky for our local residents, we have a new event this year, Elk RiverFest.
This is the first year for Elk RiverFest, but I think local residents will love it. First thing to note, this is taking place Saturday, July 7. I know we’re used to fireworks and events on the 4th, but this year, be sure to mark your calendars for this Saturday instead.
Along with fireworks, there will be various food options, live music, and lots of activities for the whole family. For a full schedule of events, click here.
