St. Paul State Representative Peggy Scott (R - Andover) began her first term in the Minnesota House of Representatives this week when the 86th Legislature convened. Scott represents Andover and Ham Lake in St. Paul.
I am honored with the privilege of serving my community in the Minnesota House, Scott said. The opportunity to serve in the legislature is one that I take very seriously, and I am committed to working in a civil manner for sensible solutions in our state government. I will serve this job to the best of my abilities and with the respect that the office deserves. I am greatly looking forward to the opportunity to work on the issues that matter to our community and our state.
Rep. Scott brings her experience as a small business owner to St. Paul. She reiterated one of her main priorities would be to help bring more jobs into Minnesota and to encourage other small business owners to grow. Not only would that help create jobs, but it would also help to spur the local economy and benefit the entire area.
