REP. GUNTHER SWORN IN AS REPRESENTATIVE IN MINNESOTA HOUSE

Tuesday, January 3, 2017

St. Paul – State Representative Bob Gunther (R-Fairmont) began his twelfth term in office Tuesday, as he was sworn in as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives in a ceremony at the State Capitol in St. Paul.

“It is an unbelievable experience to be sworn in as a state representative,” Gunther said. “It is an honor to serve the people of southern Minnesota, and I look forward to representing their interests in the House of Representatives.”

The top priority for Gunther and all Minnesota lawmakers this session will be crafting the state budget for the next two years.  In addition there will also be many policy issues for the legislature to address before lawmakers adjourn in mid-May.
