Dear Neighbors,
As we look forward to the 2019 Legislative Session, I’m grateful for the honor of serving our community for another two years as your Representative. Our neighbors showed strong support for moving forward a progressive agenda at the Capitol. With a new Speaker, DFL House Majority, and Governor Walz I am excited for the work we can do on important issues that lift up children and families. I anticipate different conversations on a wide variety of topics, including how every Minnesotan can access affordable, quality healthcare, how we can better support students and schools, move transit and transportation forward, respond to the affordable housing crisis, and many other issues.
I will be hosting a pre-session town hall with Rep. Jean Wagenius and Sen. Patricia Torres Ray. This event is intended as an election debrief and a view forward with special guests School Board Director-elect Kimberly Caprini and County Commissioner-elect Angela Conley on Saturday, December 1 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. We will provide information and take questions from members of the community. This event is free and open to the public and people are welcome to come and go as they please.
