Dear Neighbors,
I hope summer is treating you well and you’ve been able to take advantage of our state’s wonderful outdoors with your family. Throughout the summer, I continue to meet with people in the community to listen to their ideas and concerns. As part of this effort, I’d like to invite you to a pair of upcoming Town Hall Meetings to discuss what happened (and didn’t happen) during the recently concluded legislative session. We will meet next Monday night in Hibbing and next Thursday night in Togo. Here are the details:
Hibbing Town Hall Meeting
When: Monday, July 16th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Where: Hibbing Memorial Building (in the dining room)
400 E 23rd St
Hibbing, MN 55746
Togo Town Hall Meeting
When: Thursday, July 19th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Where: Carpenter Town Hall
18286 Highway 1
Togo, MN 55723
These meetings are open to everyone, free to attend, and are completely non-partisan. I hope that conversations provide not only an opportunity to look back on the success and letdowns of the session, but to talk about what we all value as Minnesotans and what direction we’d like to see our state government take in the future.
I look forward to seeing you. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, and if you are unable to attend, feel free to reach out with your feedback and input any time. It’s an honor to represent you at the State Capitol.
Sincerely,
Julie Sandstede
State Representative
