SAINT PAUL, MINN. – House DFL Leader-designate Melissa Hortman released the following statement regarding a potential special session:
“If the House Republicans cannot agree to what is in the Governor's written, transparent, and specific offer, then they should respond with a written, transparent and specific counteroffer.
If they are serious about getting the work done, they need to engage in negotiations. Minnesotans deserve more effort from the Republicans than a flat-out refusal to negotiate.”
