Your Friday Update from the Office of Representative Brad Tabke:

After the holidays the 2020 Legislative Session will be right around the corner. Rep. Tabke will be holding several events in Shakopee leading up to session, but two of them will be especially geared towards getting your direct input on the legislative agenda for our community next year.

To start, we’ll be hosting a “Festival of Ideas” on Saturday, January 11 from 12-1pm at the Shakopee Public Library. The goal for this event is for any member of our community to come forward with an idea for a bill, an issue that needs addressing, or general comments on how we can make our community and Minnesota better. You can find more information on our Facebook event page

The final event we’ll be hosting before session starts on February 11 is the 2020 Legislative Session Preview. This will be a presentation and discussion focused on the feedback we received from the community during the interim, the bills we’ll be bringing forward, and new initiatives Rep. Tabke will be working on in 2020. This will also be at the Shakopee Public Library, on Friday, February 7, from 6-7pm. More information is available on our Facebook page.
