St. Paul, Minn. — House Speaker Melissa Hortman has appointed Representative Ginny Klevorn (DFL-Plymouth) as the next chair of the House State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee.
“This November, Minnesotans elected a unified House and Senate, and I’m grateful for this new opportunity to lead on initiatives that continue to ensure a transparent, efficient, and accessible state and local government for all,” said Rep. Klevorn. “I’m looking forward to the good work ahead with my DFL and GOP colleagues.”
Last biennium, Rep. Klevorn served as the vice chair the House Redistricting Committee.
