RELEASE: Rep. Moller, Conservation Minn. announce Aug. 15 Environmental Forum

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – On Thursday, August 15, Rep. Kelly Moller (DFL – Shoreview) and Conservation Minnesota will team up to host an event titled “Environmental Forum: Issues & Action-Based Solutions for All Minnesotans” in Shoreview. The event will be held at Peace Church (5050 Hodgson Rd.) from 7 – 8:30 p.m.

“The impacts of climate change are taking hold quickly and unless we take action, our planet could experience irreversible harm. It’s important for us to all develop a good understanding of the scope of this problem,” Rep. Moller said. “As Minnesotans, we have the capacity to take concrete steps to address this problem, and our forum will give community members a good opportunity to discuss these.”

In addition to Rep. Moller, representatives from Conservation Minnesota, the Sierra Club, the University of Minnesota and other organizations will provide remarks at the forum. Community members of all ages – from youth to retirees – are invited to attend.
