St. Paul, Minn - Majority Leader Ryan Winkler and Representative Kristin Bahner (DFL-Maple Grove) will host a community conversation on cannabis on Thursday, December 5. Community members are encouraged to weigh in with direct feedback on how to establish a responsible framework for adult-use cannabis legalization.
The meeting is the ninth of 15 hosted by Rep. Winkler and legislators around the state to encourage Minnesotans to join the conversation on how to legalize and regulate cannabis for adult use.

Eleven states and Washington, D.C. have legalized cannabis for adult use. In an op-ed written in August, Rep. Winkler announced that legalizing cannabis for adult use will be a legislative priority during the 2020 legislative session.
