Dear Neighbors,
As we wrap up February, we are starting to have a clearer picture of where our legislative session is going, especially with today’s economic forecast. With important legislative deadlines coming up in March, I want to hear from you about the issues that matter most. If you have a moment, please consider taking this brief legislative survey.
I believe our work in the Minnesota Legislature is at its best when it’s responsive to your needs, and I look forward to your responses.
The Latest Vaccine News
Nearly 400,000 Minnesotans have been fully vaccinated, with more getting their second dose every day. While we’re still months away from the vaccine being widely available to all who would want it, this week the state released a more concrete timeline of when that would be.
As we continue to focus on vaccinating those age 65 and older, the goal is to vaccinate 70% of Minnesotans in that category by the end of March before allowing those with specific high-risk health conditions and targeted essential workers to get their first dose in April. This spring, we’ll gradually include more specific groups before the vaccine is available to the general public this summer.
Regardless of when you’re expecting to receive the COVID vaccine, you should sign up for Minnesota’s Vaccine Connector.
