State Representative Dan Wolgamott (DFL – St. Cloud) today announced a new series of issue-specific Town Halls in St. Cloud this fall, starting with a Community Conversation on Insulin and Prescription Drugs on Saturday, September 21. Other Town Halls will cover the topics of elder care and senior issues, legalizing recreational cannabis, health care, hate crimes legislation, and the future of clean energy in Minnesota. For the majority of the Town Halls, Rep. Wolgamott will be joined by other expert policymakers to lend to the discussion on their respective issues.
“As much as possible, I try to bring a little bit of the Capitol to St. Cloud,” said Rep. Wolgamott. “From the Transportation Field Hearing I held on Northstar, to bringing the Chair of the Education Division to discuss the funding needs of our schools. This fall, I’m excited to continue that trend with several issue-specific Town Halls that’ll enable voices in our community to be heard.
