ST. PAUL, MN – This weekend, state Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn (DFL-Roseville) was elected by her colleagues in the Minnesota House to serve as one of their Assistant Majority Leaders. Rep. Becker-Finn released the following statement:

“I am honored to be elected by my peers to serve as Assistant Majority Leader. Our state and community are ready for an ambitious agenda that will benefit all Minnesotans. Together we will work towards affordable, accessible healthcare, fully funding our schools, promoting good jobs throughout our state, and making sure seniors have access to safe and secure retirement. In this position, I will strive to lead with integrity and respect for everyone in our great state, and promote fair and transparent legislative processes.

I would also like to remind everyone that the State Capitol belongs to all of us as Minnesotans. Families, students and other residents of District 42B are encouraged to schedule a time to visit me in St. Paul.”
