SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Sunday evening, Governor Tim Walz delivered his 2021 State of the State address from the Mankato West High School classroom in which he taught social studies.
State Rep. Rob Ecklund (DFL – International Falls) issued the following statement:
“Over the past year, Minnesotans have had to make tremendous sacrifices, including students, small businesses, and the essential workers who have been heroes on the front lines of COVID-19. We’re at a critical point in our effort to defeat the pandemic and turn the corner so folks can once again succeed all across our state. Governor Walz laid out an optimistic vision for how we can move past this crisis, and just like him, I’m excited for what’s next once we put COVID behind us and pull together so all Minnesotans can have the strong future they deserve.”
