Federal Funds
Earlier this month, our federal government passed the American Rescue Plan. This $1.9 trillion bill includes a lot of money for Minnesota. In short, state government in Minnesota will receive $2.5 billion, and another $2.1 billion will be split up amongst localities across the state.

Happy Easter!
I know Easter is still a week away, but the Minnesota Legislature is on break next week and I wanted to take some time and wish you all a Happy Easter! Celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior is a wonderful thing. I always enjoy going to church on Easter Sunday and being with my family.
For me, Easter weekend is a time of reflection. I think about the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for me. I think about the nature of God’s love for us. But most of all, I think about how undeserving we all are of salvation. We are woefully imperfect people who consistently fail throughout our daily lives. Yet God sacrificed His only Son that we might be saved.
As we celebrate Easter, let us remember Christ’s sacrifice as the ultimate expression of unconditional love, and His resurrection as an awesome display of God’s sovereignty.
