Dear Neighbor,
I would like to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a successful New Year. As we reflect on this holiday season it’s a wonderful time for families and friends to gather to celebrate the many blessings we have received.
We had an early Christmas surprise this week. Our oldest son and his wife dropped in for a visit over the holidays. They live in Malaysia, and it appeared we would not be able to gather for Christmas this year. But to our surprise they are now here in the frosty north enjoying our brisk weather. Quite a change from a climate were anything below 70 degrees is cause for putting a sweater on.
This past year has been trying in many ways, as we continue to wrestle COVID to the mat. While it remains perplexing, we are steadily making progress on getting the upper hand with this virus.
I remain optimistic that 2022 will be a wonderful year in which we will see major progress in Minnesota and across our nation in finally putting the pandemic into the rear-view mirror.
