ST. PAUL – State Rep. Dale Lueck, R-Aitkin, issued the following statement in response to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources announcing that, similar to last season, Mille Lacs Lake anglers will be allowed to keep one walleye between 21-23 inches, or one fish over 28 inches during the winter season, which starts Dec. 1.
“I am very pleased to see that winter walleye regulations for Mille Lacs Lake will include keeping fish,” Lueck said. “This is good news for our area and another indication that the big lake and its walleye fishery continues to improve.”
