Minneapolis, MN – Early yesterday, the fire at Minneapolis’ Francis Drake Hotel, now a temporary housing facility, displaced over 200 residents. State Representative Raymond Dehn (D – Minneapolis) released the following statement:
“The tragedy of this fire can only be rivaled by the bravery of our first responders and the generosity of our community in this time of crisis. As we work today to meet the immediate needs of over 200 residents of the Drake Hotel, we must also emphasize the importance of investing in pathways out of homelessness and poverty in the future.”
