Legislative update

Dear Neighbor,

Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year to you from the Swedzinski family. May you and your family find comfort and warmth this season as we look with optimism toward the New Year.

As we celebrate the holidays, please do what you can to assist those who may need a hand, whether it’s shoveling someone’s walk, contributing to a local food shelf, or any other kind acts of generosity you may be able to perform.

Housekeeping preparations have been taking place as we ramp up to the Jan. 5 start of the 2021 session. Committees are being formed and I am honored to continue serving as the lead House Republican on the energy/climate panel.

I am pleased to continue serving in this capacity because energy issues have long been of interest to me. Our state’s energy policies and goals heavily impact those of us in Greater Minnesota and I will continue focusing on accessibility and affordability for all Minnesotans.

Stay tuned for more legislative news and notes as we start the 2021 session. For now, have a safe and happy holiday season. Your feedback always is welcome by emailing rep.chris.swedzinski@house.mn or by calling (651) 296-5374.

Sincerely,

Chris
