RELEASE: Gruenhagen Takes Oath of Office, Announces Committee Assignments for 2019-2020 Legislative Session

St. Paul – Minnesota’s 2019 Legislative Session officially began January 8th with Rep. Glenn Gruenhagen (R-Glencoe) and 133 other state representatives being sworn into office during a ceremony at the State Capitol.

“I am looking forward to getting back to work representing the residents of McLeod and Sibley Counties,” Gruenhagen said. “As your state representative, I am committed to working this session to lower your tax burden, improve health care delivery and pricing, and grow Minnesota’s economy so all Minnesotans have the opportunity to prosper.”

Most of Rep. Gruenhagen’s work during the first months of session will take place in House committees. For the 2019-2020 legislative biennium, Gruenhagen will serve as the Republican-lead on the Subcommittee on Long Term Care. He has also been assigned to both the Health and Human Services Finance Division and the Education Policy Division.
