RELEASE: Statement from Rep. Fabian on Minnesota Supreme Court’s Line 3 Order
Roseau, MN—Representative Dan Fabian, R-Roseau, issued the following statement in response to Tuesday's Minnesota Supreme Court decision to deny requests to take up challenges to the Line 3 replacement project's Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
“I am pleased that the court made the right decision and declined doing yet another review of the Line 3 replacement,” said Fabian. “This project has been reviewed to death, and there is broad support in our area for replacing the aging line with a modern system that will better protect the environment. Once additional updates to the EIS are completed, I strongly urge the Walz Administration to finalize the permits as quickly as possible so construction can start.”
