REP. FABIAN ENCOURAGES COMMENTS ON WARROAD-ROSEAU RAILBED ATV TRAIL PROPOSAL
ROSEAU, MN — The DNR has issued a request for written comments and input on Roseau County’s proposal for grant-in-aid funding to connect Roseau and Warroad via the Warroad-Roseau Railbed, a nearly 20 mile trail. The trail would be an addition to the ATV and off-highway motorcycle trail system in Beltrami Island State Forest.
"This trail would be a welcome addition to our existing trail system for all those who use our current trails," said Fabian. “We have many people who ride ATVs in our area, and two great local ATV manufacturers. We want to see more opportunities to ride on different trail systems. These trails are important to our area and to the people of Northwest Minnesota. I would encourage all those who are interested to submit comments on this proposed addition.”
