Rep. Hornstein, Sen. Dibble respond to anti-Semitic graffiti at Minneapolis school

Friday, August 2, 2019

“We are appalled and saddened by the anti-Semitic graffiti found yesterday on a door at Lake Harriet Upper School in the Fulton neighborhood of Minneapolis. We strongly condemn this hate crime which depicted a Nazi swastika alongside a message that read "Kikes Must Die." This is the 17th anti-Semitic incident in Minnesota so far this year, and reflects a dramatic increase in Anti-Semitism across the country which the Anti-Defamation League states has reached ‘historic levels.’

As legislators, we will continue to work with law enforcement, community organizations, and our legislative colleagues to bring communities together to fight bias of all kinds, whether directed at Jews, Muslims, immigrants, people of color and indigenous communities, and the LGBTQ community.”
