New legislative session. Same values.

Monday, February 17, 2020

 Dear Neighbors,

Legislators have returned to St. Paul for the 2020 legislative session. It’s a new year, but Minnesotans’ values and the values that guide my work at the Capitol haven’t changed. We know that Minnesotans care about each other and want to see one another succeed.

As Chair of the Tax Committee, I’ll be working hard to level the playing field for senior citizens, working families, farmers, and small businesses. We made progress with our tax bill in 2019, but there is more work to do in 2020 and beyond to provide the resources needed for honest investments in schools, health care, and public safety.

If you have a personal story, idea, or question related to business at the State Capitol, please get in touch. You can find my full contact information online at www.house.mn/04B. I enjoy reading your letters and encourage you to write me at 597 State Office Building, St. Paul, MN 55155. Or, you can feel free to call me with a question or comment at 1-800-551-5520. If you have a friend, neighbor, or relative who wants to receive updates about the Legislature, let them know they can subscribe to my email list here

Thank you for the honor of serving as your state representative. I’ll be in touch with news and updates about what’s happening at the Capitol all session long.

Sincerely,

Paul Marquart
